"One water purifier - Ten thousand drops of love" is a non-profit community project organized by UpBase with sponsorship from SPLAT toothpaste brand with the aim of creating conditions for using clean water for children difficult highlands. The project aims to help teachers and students at 5 kindergartens in Nghien Loan commune, Pac Nam district, Bac Kan province have access to clean water and other facilities for learning and living. , thereby creating a great source of motivation for children to go to school, and teachers continue to build a learning and development environment for children here.

When I was immersed in the joy of the children, eating meat at noon hungry, holding in their hands tubes of toothpaste and toothbrushes that many of them had not had before. UpBase and SPLAT both believe that the path that we and the project have taken is not far, we are on the right track and have arrived at the right place. UpBase is very pleased to accompany the SPLAT Brand in the journey to bring clean water to the children here.

Pac Nam, Bac Kan, the first destination in the journey of spreading love

Bac Kan is a province in the Northeast region, 162 km from the capital Hanoi and is a high mountainous province with rugged terrain and difficult travel. With high mountainous terrain, water and clean water systems are very lacking, this directly affects the quality of life of the people here.

Among them, Nghien Loan commune is one of the particularly difficult communes of Pac Nam district, Bac Kan province with 100% Dao ethnic people, all of whom belong to poor households. The material and spiritual life of the people in the commune is still very difficult.

Every day, students have to walk 5-10km to get to school. Even some roads to small schools cannot be moved when encountering bad weather. Despite the difficult conditions and lack of facilities, parents, teachers and preschool children still strive every day to go to school to build a learning environment for their children. practice and work like other young people.

Community project aimed at summers without clean water

Through contact with teachers at 5 schools, UpBase learned that the schools still lack water filters and water storage tanks. Drinking and cooking water is still used directly from the ravine that people bring home, sometimes there is water, sometimes not, it does not meet the standards of the Ministry of Health to ensure health.

Especially at Nam Van 2 school, because the school does not have water or a water storage tank, every day the children go to school, their families and parents will bring a water bottle to school for the children to use during the learning process. . Rainy days will probably be less difficult, but winter days with little rain, dry streams or hot summer days, lack of clean water for drinking and living will more or less affect the conditions for sticking to the path to school of the children.

With the sponsorship of SPLAT toothpaste brand (SPLAT ASIA Co., Ltd.), we contacted suppliers in Nghiem Loan Commune, purchased and installed 3 1500l water storage tanks, 6 water purifiers, 3 set of bottles and gas stoves to support clean water for children's learning and eating process at school. In addition, 250 plastic cups, 2 televisions for studying, 540 toothpaste, toothbrushes, mouthwash, 800 foam mats, meals for children and coloring pens were also given to students and teachers. at school to help children have a better learning environment in the future. Teachers will have gas stoves to cook for children instead of wood stoves in the hot summer, children will have foam mats for naps, and televisions so they can learn better programs...

Through the sharing of the SPLAT Brand Representative in the charity journey "One water purifier, ten thousand drops of love", UpBase has better understood SPLAT's desire to contribute to the community in Vietnam, not just Brand development in Vietnam but also the social responsibility of a Business to the community. Thereby, raising awareness and aiming for the image of a natural, friendly toothpaste brand for families in Vietnam.
