The user data of UpBase protected under this Privacy Policy includes all data within the UpBase software initiated and/or collected throughout the time you use UpBase products and services. However, when you use third-party utilities provided within the UpBase software, the data initiated or collected related to these utilities will be the responsibility of the entities hosting those utilities. These entities will also collaborate with UpBase to collect, manage, and protect data according to each third party's respective policies.

2. UpBase commits to safeguarding and preserving the personal information and data of UpBase users through the following security measures and procedures.

UpBase stores, processes, and protects the personal information and data of users on servers, applying physical and electronic security measures such as firewalls, data encryption, and implementing procedures according to information security laws. UpBase tightly controls physical access to information, allowing only necessary employees access to fulfill their job responsibilities.

All user data will be stored on the UpBase system for a period of 06 months from the termination of the software, service provision contract, or from the user's cessation of using the software, services on the UpBase mobile application. In the case of data related to third-party utilities, the retention period will comply with the policies of the third party and the provisions of the contract/agreement/terms of use between the user and that third party (if any).

For personal information, UpBase stores it according to legal regulations to ensure continuous provision of products, services, taxes, accounting, or other pre-notified purposes. The retention period will comply with the legal regulations regarding the storage of personal information.

UpBase commits to safeguarding the personal information and data of users to the best of its ability. However, it cannot prevent or be responsible for information obtained by third parties when users utilize utilities or linked services within the UpBase software that are not provided by UpBase.

3. When will user information on UpBase be stored in the UpBase system?

The information and data of UpBase users will be stored in the UpBase system in the following typical situations:

1. When UpBase users register and/or use UpBase's products, services (including both paid and free products/services), or create an account with UpBase.
2. When UpBase users fill out forms or other related documents regarding UpBase's products and services, through online or physical means.
3. When UpBase users enter into any agreements or provide documents/other information related to interactions with UpBase.
4. When UpBase users interact with UpBase via phone (where calls may be recorded), text, fax, in-person meetings, social media, and email.
5. When UpBase users utilize electronic services or interact with UpBase through the UpBase platform or use services on the UpBase platform. This may include deploying cookies when UpBase users interact with UpBase applications or platforms.
6. When UpBase users conduct transactions through the UpBase platform or services.
7. When UpBase users submit feedback or complaints.
8. When UpBase users provide personal information for any reason.
9. When UpBase users use third-party utilities available on the UpBase software (including but not limited to shipping utilities, payment utilities, financial solutions, and non-UpBase products).
10. In other situations deemed necessary and appropriate by UpBase in accordance with legal regulations.

4. What is the information of UpBase users stored for?

The goal of UpBase is to provide UpBase users with a service infrastructure that supports brand promotion and development, efficient expansion of business on the Internet, and optimization of costs and time. Therefore, UpBase collects and processes personal information and data of UpBase users for the following purposes:

1. Providing information, products, services, utilities, and support as requested by UpBase users.
2. Sending email notifications about UpBase's promotional programs, featured events to UpBase users.
3. Resolving disputes, issues arising from the use of UpBase's products, and services.
4. Preventing illegal or prohibited activities as per the Terms of Use.
5. Measuring and improving UpBase's products and services.

When using the UpBase website/application, products, and services, UpBase users understand and accept that UpBase has the right to access data on the phone linked to the UpBase software of UpBase users such as: reading and writing to the phone's contacts, obtaining the current location of UpBase users, writing data from the UpBase website/application to the memory card, accessing the Internet from the device of UpBase users.

5. UpBase users need to take the following steps to secure their information:

After completing the product or service transfer process, UpBase users become the sole entity owning and responsible for securely managing identifying information, administrative accounts, passwords, website content, and other information related to their accounts and websites. UpBase users can log into their accounts to edit information and request UpBase to verify, update, adjust, or cancel personal information. UpBase will make changes upon request or provide tools for UpBase users to self-check and update their personal information. UpBase only supports UpBase users through the account provided by UpBase users.

UpBase users need to immediately notify UpBase and/or partners who are responsible for managing the utilities, services linked on the UpBase software when they detect unauthorized access using their accounts or any security vulnerabilities, including loss, theft, or disclosure of passwords and other security information.

UpBase users are responsible for the content of emails/SMS sent from the inbox within their account and content on their website/software. Providing email/SMS and registering for a trial implies agreeing to receive marketing emails/SMS from UpBase.

When using the UpBase website/application, products, and services, UpBase users are responsible for securely storing the devices used for software, installing the UpBase application within a controlled and safe environment, and keeping account access information to prevent unauthorized access and/or misuse for unsafe purposes. UpBase advises UpBase users to change their passwords promptly after providing passwords to related partners to support safe usage.

UpBase is not responsible for any unauthorized intrusions by third parties into UpBase users' software, websites, or applications due to negligence, errors, or with the consent of UpBase users.

6. UpBase Security Measures to Protect User Information

UpBase implements certain security measures to ensure the safety of user's personal information and data. These measures include the use of firewalls, data encryption, and adherence to procedures as required by information security laws. UpBase establishes controls over physical access to information and only allows necessary employees access to personal information and data within the UpBase system.

UpBase user data will be stored on the UpBase system hosted by server infrastructure providers and cloud computing services. This storage period will comply with the agreed terms in the software or service provision contract or as stipulated by UpBase. For user's personal information, UpBase will retain it for the necessary period as required by law to ensure continuous provision of products and services, as well as to fulfill tax and accounting obligations.

UpBase is committed to always making efforts to safeguard user's personal information and data to the best of its ability. However, it cannot prevent or be responsible for personal information and data that third parties may obtain when users utilize utilities, services linked within the UpBase software, which are not managed by UpBase.

7. Management of information on the software products provided by UpBase to UpBase users

UpBase users have the ability to access, edit, and update information on their software products through logging in and using administrative features. UpBase bears no responsibility for the accuracy and legality of the information, goods, and services that UpBase users upload to the website, software, or provide to consumers. UpBase encourages users to keep their information updated and accurate to ensure the most convenient user experience.

8. Use of Cookies

The results of the complaint resolution will be communicated to UpBase users, and if necessary, UpBase may invite the complainant for direct discussion.
